I was commissioned by BrightSpark Early Learning Center to design the 2024 Ruth Kagi Award for their annual recipient. The award takes the form of a rocking chair, and is used year-round in the classroom by students. I presented two design concepts, shown below.
The selected design (right) takes the company's brand elements and breaks them up into kaleidoscopic visuals, reflecting the idea that every child has a place and contributes to the larger community.
